A lifelong music lover with playlists for every mood and moment, Lara's inspiration for Spot the Gig was born on the road—through her travels across New York, London and to Dubai, exposed her to a recurring challenge: talented musicians and venues struggling to find each other. Spot the Gig was born from that insight—a platform designed to simplify connections and help live music flourish, city by city.

THE DOERS BEHIND THE STAGE

AKA: our  history & vision board.

No long-winded visioning sessions. No 'someday' talk. Just two people with different minds and the same instinct: if the solution doesn’t exist, build it. When we care about something, we go all in and we spotted an obvious gap in a messy, outdated industry ended up asking: why hasn’t anyone built the solution yet?

Musicians had talent, but not access. Venues had stages, but no time. The systems built to connect them were stuck in another decade. It didn’t feel like a creative crisis. It felt like a logistical failure. And that’s exactly our kind of problem.

So we did what we always do when potential and action are out of sync: we dropped the beat ourselves.
Spot the Gig isn’t a romantic idea. It’s a clean interface with backstage passes. A booking tool with rhythm. Finally—something that hits all the right notes.
